Product Overview
The CGS Tool 3106-ALTiN is a 1/4" diameter 3-flute solid carbide square end mill from the Storm 3100 Series. It’s meant for production milling, where chip load and cutting stability need to hold up, run after run.
There’s also a 60° high helix, heavy core, and eccentric relief design that keeps the cutter more rugged under demanding conditions, and then the ALTiN coating adds heat plus wear resistance. So it works for tougher materials, longer runs in steels, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium alloys, Inconel, and certain non-ferrous materials too.
