Product Overview
The CGS Tool 7002 is a 1/8" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 7000 Profile Series, and it's built for jobs where the cutter needs to reach into a pocket and still leave a clean rounded surface behind. Profile milling, contour work, and deep pocket finishing all put extra strain on reach and rigidity, and this series is set up specifically to handle that combination without sacrificing edge control.
The .0625" radius gives it a smooth rounded form that's well suited to blending curved surfaces, and with a 1/4" length of cut and 2-1/2" overall length, it has enough reach for most profile work without becoming unwieldy.
