Product Overview
The CGS Tool 7006 is a 5/16" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 7000 Profile Series, sized for profile and contour milling where a smooth radius cut needs a bit of extra reach. Its 4" overall length is what separates it from a standard-length ball end mill.
Built on the same precision CNC equipment as CGS Tool's other general-purpose lines, it holds a 30° helix and a .1562" radius matched to its diameter for a controlled cutting feel. Uncoated and rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it's suitable for general-purpose contour work.
