The CGS Tool 720-5000-ALTiN is a 1/2" diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill built for jobs that need more reach than a standard tool can give. With a 2" length of cut, it's meant for deeper slots, longer profiles, plunging, and side wall work where a shorter tool would run out of room.
The extra reach doesn't come at the expense of edge life — the ALTiN coating helps this one hold up to heat and wear the way a shorter tool wouldn't need to.
