The CGS Tool 722-4375-ALTiN is basically a 7/16" diameter , 2 flute solid carbide ball end mill of thing ,made for profile and contour work with added reach, so with a .2188" radius it gives you that smooth rounded cutting edge for curved pockets.
The ALTiN coating helps with both heat and wear resistance during harsher machining situations , and with a 2" length of cut plus a 4" overall length, this 722 Series cutter should deliver reliable ball end results in deeper CNC cavities, across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium , non ferrous metals, plastics ,and composites.
