Long-reach ball-end work is the whole point of the CGS Tool 822-2500-ALTiN, a 1/4" diameter 2-flute solid carbide cutter from the 822 Series. It's built for jobs where the contour or pocket you're chasing sits deeper than a standard ball mill can comfortably reach.
A .125" radius keeps the rounded cutting form clean through curved walls and finishing passes, and the ALTiN coating gives the edge some backbone against heat as the 1-1/2" length of cut does its work. At 4" overall, this 822 Series cutter adds the reach shops need in mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
