Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2003 has a 3/16” diameter , 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill. And it’s made for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites. It’s part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious, kind of, and this tool tends to give strong material removal rates and a smoother surface result, plus dependable performance in tough CNC milling work.
Built from premium solid carbide, the BN2003 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry for chip evacuation that stays efficient, and for cutting forces that are typically lower. The precision-ground ball end form works really well for contour work, profiling too , and for 3D surface machining. Also, the uncoated cutting edges help keep material buildup down, so the cut stays clean, especially in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
