Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2003-S has a 3/16” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide ball end mill. It is made for high-speed machining in aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and composites. It’s also part of the BN2000 Series that CGS Tool calls Ferocious, so you get really strong material removal rates, smoother surface finishes, and reliable CNC milling performance even when things get busy.
Made from premium solid carbide, the BN2003-S shows off CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry , which helps with chip evacuation and keeps cutting forces lower. The ball end itself is precision ground, and it’s a great fit for contouring, profiling , and 3D surface machining. On top of that, the ZrN coating helps reduce built-up edge, and it can extend tool life especially in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. With the advanced geometry, it supports aggressive feed rates too , which means more productivity without the usual drama.
