Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2009 comes in a 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill made for fast speed machining on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. As part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious, this tool gives solid material removal rates, a smooth surface finish, and dependable performance even when CNC milling gets demanding.
Built from premium solid carbide, BN2009 also keeps CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, so chips evacuate quickly and cutting forces stay more controlled. The ball end design, precision-ground, is great for contouring, profiling, and 3D surface machining . Meanwhile the uncoated cutting edges help reduce material buildup, and keep cutting more cleanly on aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
