Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2018, comes in a 3/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill made for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites, it’s built to keep things moving fast while still staying pretty consistent. And, as part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious, it brings strong material removal rates, smoother surface finishes, and dependable behavior even when the CNC milling workload gets kind of intense or demanding.
It’s manufactured from premium solid carbide, with the BN2018 showing CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, so chips evacuate more efficiently and cutting forces feel reduced. The precision ground ball end style helps a lot with contouring, profiling, and that 3D surface machining you usually want for detailed parts, while the uncoated cutting edges help minimize material buildup, so the cutting stays cleaner in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials too.
