The CGS Tool BN2060 comes in a 3/4” diameter 2 flute solid carbide ball end mill, made for fast machining of aluminum and a bunch of non ferrous stuff, plus plastics and composites. And as part of the BN2000 Series Ferocious you get this kind of high material removal rate feel, with smooth surface finishes , and also dependable operation when you’re running serious CNC milling jobs.
It is manufactured from premium solid carbide , and the BN2060 has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry for efficient chip evacuation. That setup also helps reduce cutting forces too, which I guess is always a good thing. Then the precision ground ball end shape works really well for contouring profiling , and 3D surface machining. The cutting edges are uncoated, which tends to minimize material buildup, so you maintain cleaner cutting performance in aluminum and other non ferrous materials, without the usual messy residue.
