Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2067-S comes in a 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill, built mainly for high-speed machining in aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and composites. It belongs to the BN2000 Series Ferocious, and yeah it’s meant to give you standout material removal rates, smoother surface finishes, and dependable results even when CNC milling gets pretty demanding.
Made from premium solid carbide, the BN2067-S uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix shape, which is supposed to help with chip evacuation and it also lowers the cutting forces. The precision-ground ball end is pretty well suited for contouring, profiling, and 3D surface work. On top of that, the ZrN coating helps reduce built-up edge and it can extend tool life, especially in aluminum and similar non-ferrous materials. Basically, the optimized geometry supports more aggressive feed rates and gives better overall machining efficiency.
