Product Overview
The CGS Tool BN2069-S comes in a 1” diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill, built for high speed machining in aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. It comes from the BN2000 Series Ferocious, so it tends to give exceptional material removal rates, pretty smooth surface finishes, and dependable results in tough CNC milling work, even when things get a bit cranky.
Made from premium solid carbide, the BN2069-S uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation and also keeps cutting forces lower. The precision-ground ball end shape is a great fit for contouring, profiling, and 3D surface machining, kind of straightforward but effective. With a ZrN coating on it, the built-up edge gets reduced , and tool life in aluminum and other non ferrous materials can last longer. It also includes a long reach geometry, so cutting stays stable in deeper cavities and for extended surface machining sessions.
