The CGS Tool 2045-S has a 9/16” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for maximum material removal and a really clean surface on aluminum, other non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it is made for machinists who want top performance even when they run at extreme feed rates, all day long.
Made with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2045-S includes a 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation, less cutting pressure, and an impressive finish. The polished cutting edges, plus a free-cutting geometry, helps cut down built-up edges, but still keeps the tool life outstanding, even when you’re pushing high-speed CNC setups.
