Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2009-S has 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill made for maximum material taking and surface exactness, mostly in aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s meant for machinists who expect top tier output even at pretty extreme feed rates.
Built with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2009-S has a 55° high helix that helps with better chip clearing, lower cutting pressure, and a really clean finish on the workpiece. The polished cutting edges plus a free-cutting layout reduce built-up edge ,while still keeping excellent durability, even when you run high-speed CNC jobs.
