Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2009 has 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It's built for maximum material removal but also surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and even plastics. It’s from the ferocious series so it’s meant for machinists who want top tier performance at extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2009 has a 55° high helix so chips evacuate more smoothly, cutting forces stay lower, and the surface finishes look really sharp. The polished cutting edges plus a free-cutting geometry helps cut down built-up edges, while still keeping a strong tool life, even when you’re running high-speed CNC work.
