Small diameter work still benefits from extra corner strength, and the CR143-2500.030-ALTiN does that at 1/4" diameter, more or less. This 4 flute corner-radius end mill has a .030" radius, so it lessens the sharp-corner wear while at the same time keeping the finished part detail right where you expect it.
The ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance, which is handy for harder jobs or longer running cuts where a plain carbide tool would just dull sooner. With a 30° helix and a single end design, this CR143 Series cutter is able to do profiling, shoulder work, sidewall milling, and radius-corner stuff across mixed CNC materials.
