Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2001.015 comes in a 1/8” diameter, two flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and also composites. It’s part of the CR2000 Series, Ferocious, and it’s meant for precision contouring, finishing, and any work where you want extra edge strength along with better surface quality, kind of the improved kind that you notice right away.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2001.015 shows CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry which helps with chip evacuation and, likewise, keeps cutting forces down. And because it has a corner radius design the tool gains more strength right at the cutting edge while also reducing chipping, plus it helps with the surface finish quality versus those sharper corner tools. The cutting edges are uncoated, so they’re tuned for clean performance in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
