Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2001.015-S comes in a 1/8” diameter sort of 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high speed machining, aluminum especially, also non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. And as part of the CR2000 Series, the Ferocious line, it gives solid surface finishes, stronger edges, and consistent results for precision CNC milling.
Built using premium solid carbide, the CR2001.015-S comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, so chips evacuate better and the cutting forces stay lower. The corner radius shape helps with durability too, because it reduces stress where the cutting edge is working, which in turn improves wear resistance and gives a smoother surface finish. The ZrN coating minimizes built-up edge, extends tool life, and generally supports aluminum work plus a range of other non-ferrous materials.
