The CGS Tool CR2001.030 comes in a 1/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for really fast machining of aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. And yeah as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this thing aims for stronger edge behavior, smoother looking surfaces, plus dependable results in precision CNC milling.
It’s manufactured from premium solid carbide, and the CR2001.030 uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, so chips evacuate easier and cutting forces stay lower. The corner radius style gives the cutting edge more strength, helps reduce chipping, and extends tool life too while still keeping a great surface finish. Also the uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean work in aluminum and a bunch of other non-ferrous materials.
