Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2003.015, comes in a 3/16” diameter 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, it’s made for high speed machining on aluminum and a whole mix of non ferrous metals, plastics, plus composites. And yeah as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it’s supposed to give you better edge strength, smoother surface finishes, and steady repeatability for precision CNC milling stuff, even when things get kinda demanding.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2003.015 includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation and also tends to lower cutting forces, pretty reliably. The corner radius arrangement helps reinforce the cutting edge, it can reduce chipping, and it tends to extend tool life, all while still keeping an excellent surface finish quality. The uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean operation in aluminum and other non ferrous materials, so the cut stays consistent from pass to pass.
