Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2003.015-S comes in a 3/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, built for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composites. It’s also part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, where you get better edge strength ,smoother surface finishes, and more reliable results inside precision CNC milling stuff.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2003.015-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry for efficient chip evacuation, and honestly lower cutting forces too. The corner radius style helps the tool last longer by easing stress concentration at the cutting edge, which helps limit chipping, and also keeps the surface finish quality looking good. Then the ZrN coating adds extra wear resistance, cuts down built-up edges, and basically extends tool life when you’re working with aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
