Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2006.030 is a 1/4” diameter 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for fast or high speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it gives you better edge strength, smoother surface results and more consistent output for precision CNC milling stuff, even when the cut is aggressive.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2006.030 uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation and can lower the cutting forces a bit. The corner radius style kind of reinforces the cutting edge, helps prevent chipping and lifts surface finish quality ,while still staying steady in high speed machining situations. The uncoated cutting edges are optimized for clean cutting in aluminum, and other non ferrous materials too.
