The CGS Tool CR2006.030-S is a 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner-radius end mill for high speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals , plastics, and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool brings better edge strength and a really fine surface finish, plus steady results during precision CNC milling, like it’s supposed to.
Built from top tier solid carbide , the CR2006.030-S has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, so chips clear out faster and cutting forces stay lower. The corner radius setup helps longevity , because it eases stress focus right at the cutting edge. That means less chipping, and a more even surface finish overall. The ZrN coating also supports higher wear resistance, helps limit built-up edge, and ends up stretching tool life when working with aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
