The CGS Tool CR2018.060-R is a 3/8” diameter 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high-speed machining stuff like aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool is set up to give better edge strength, smoother surface finishes, and dependable results for precision CNC milling, like you expect.
Built from top tier solid carbide, the CR2018.060-R comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. That helps with chip removal, and it also brings cutting forces down a bit. The corner radius geometry basically keeps the cutting edge tougher, lowers the risk of chipping, and improves the surface finish, even when the spindle is moving fast. With uncoated cutting edges, it’s tuned for neat, efficient cutting in aluminum and other non ferrous materials too.
