The CGS Tool CR2018.060-S is a 3/8” diameter 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high speed machining , especially on aluminum and other non ferrous metals , plus plastics and composites. In the CR2000 Series Ferocious lineup , it gives you stronger edges, clean surface finishes, and steady output when you do precision CNC milling.
It’s built out of solid carbide that's the good kind, and the CR2018.060-S has CGS Tool original 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip evacuation, and also keeps cutting forces lower. The corner radius shape is kind of key here, because it boosts durability by easing stress concentration right at the cutting edge, so you see less chipping and a better finish overall. Then the ZrN coating plays along too, improving wear resistance, dialing down built up edges, and helping extend tool life when you’re cutting aluminum and other non ferrous materials .
