Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2030.090-S is a 1/2” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high speed machining in aluminum and other non ferrous metals, plus plastics and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, it gives pretty solid cutting behavior, a better edge staying power, and good surface finishes, for precision CNC milling work.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2030.090-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with chip removal and keeps cutting forces lower. The corner radius layout also helps overall durability by easing the stress buildup right at the cutting edge, it can reduce chipping, and it supports consistent surface finish quality. The ZrN coating meanwhile boosts wear resistance, helps lower built up edge, and extends tool life when you run aluminum and similar non ferrous materials.
