Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2036.125 is a sort of 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high-speed machining on aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series “Ferocious”, this tool gives strong cutting capability, better edge staying power and fairly consistent surface finishes in precision CNC milling.
It is manufactured from premium solid carbide, and the CR2036.125 comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry for more efficient chip removal, plus less cutting force overall. The corner radius setup also helps bolster the cutting edge, lowers the chance of chipping, and supports a cleaner surface result while still holding steady during high-speed machining. The uncoated cutting edges are tuned for clean cutting in aluminum as well as other non ferrous materials.
