Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2060.015 is like a 3/4” diameter, two flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, it’s built for high-speed machining of aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. It’s also part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious , so you get strong cutting performance, better edge staying power, and that nice surface finish quality you want when you’re doing serious CNC milling.
Made out of premium solid carbide, the CR2060.015 shows CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which helps with rapid chip evacuation, lowers cutting forces, and pretty much supports more aggressive feed rates. The .015" corner radius, in a way, reinforces the cutting edge, helping reduce chipping and stretching tool life, while still keeping the dimensions accurate. Plus it has that extended 2-1/2" length of cut, making it a good fit for deeper machining needs, where you want more reach and extra stability. Since it’s uncoated, it’s tuned for clean, efficient machining of aluminum and similar non-ferrous workpieces.
