Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2060.015-S is a 3/4” dia , 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, sort of built for high speed machining in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and composite material. And as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious lineup, it tends to give exceptional cut power, more durable edges, and really solid surface finish results in tough CNC milling work.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2060.015-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. This promotes fast chip removal, helps lower cutting forces, and works with pretty aggressive feed rates. The .015" corner radius kind of firms up the cutting edge too, so it reduces edge chipping and can stretch tool life while staying true to dimensional accuracy. Also, the extra 2-1/2" length of cut fits deeper pockets and deeper operations, while the ZrN coating adds wear resistance, cuts down built-up edge buildup, and boosts performance especially when machining aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
