Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2060.030 is a 3/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made more for high speed machining of aluminum non-ferrous metals, plastics and composite materials. And, as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious it kind of gives exceptional cutting behavior, better edge staying power, and a nice surface finish too, in tough CNC milling jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2060.030 includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix setup, this helps with fast chip evacuation, keeps cutting forces lower, and it supports aggressive feeding. The .030" corner radius corner thing also strengthens the cutting edge, so it can reduce chipping and stretch the life of the tool, while still keeping the dimensional accuracy where you need it. Plus the extended 2-1/2" length of cut is useful when you’re doing deep slotting, profiling, and longer reach machining. The uncoated build is tuned for clean and efficient work on aluminum, and other non-ferrous stuff too.
