Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2060.030-S is a 3/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made to run fast when you’re machining aluminum and those other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and composite materials. It’s part of the CR2000 Series (the Ferocious one), and in real life that means it gives that exceptional cutting action, edge endurance, and a surface finish that looks sharp even when your CNC milling setup is pretty demanding.
Now, made from premium solid carbide, the CR2060.030-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, that setup tends to push out the chips quickly , helps lower cutting forces too, and it supports those more aggressive feed rates. The .030" corner radius helps back up the cutting edge, which in turn helps minimize chipping, and it also extends tool life while keeping dimensional accuracy where you want it. And yeah, the extended 2-1/2" length of cut is a big deal for deep slotting , and for those extended-reach machining tasks where you can’t keep things short. On top of that, the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, cuts down on built-up edge formation, and overall improves machining performance in aluminum as well as other non-ferrous work.
