The CGS Tool CR2066.015 is a of looks small but it’s actually a 1" diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high performance cutting in aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. It’s part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, so it goes for exceptional cutting efficiency, better edge durability, and that nicer surface finish quality you want when you are running demanding CNC milling work.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2066.015 has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, that setup helps push chip evacuation along faster, it also helps reduce cutting forces, and it supports more aggressive feed rates than you’d expect. The .015" corner radius, kind of reinforces the cutting edge, which helps minimize chipping and extend tool life at the same time, while still keeping good dimensional accuracy. And the uncoated design is tuned for clean, efficient cutting specifically in aluminum, plus a range of other non ferrous materials.
