Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2066.060 is this 1" diameter, 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, built for high-performance machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics and even composite materials. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool gives exceptional cutting efficiency, improved edge durability and a really smooth surface finish, for those tough CNC milling jobs that need consistency.
Made from premium solid carbide, the CR2066.060 comes with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which is there to help the chips evacuate faster, cut down the cutting forces, and back up aggressive feed rates. The .060" corner radius, kind of strengthens the cutting edge, so you get less chipping and longer tool life, without losing dimensional precision. And since it’s uncoated, the design is tuned for clean, efficient cutting in aluminum plus other non-ferrous materials.
