The CGS Tool CR2066.060-S is a 1" diameter , 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high performance machining of aluminum , non ferrous metals, plastics , and composite materials. Kind of as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, this tool gives serious cutting efficiency, better edge endurance, and a really clean surface finish, especially for tough CNC milling work that just keeps going.
Built from premium solid carbide , the CR2066.060-S has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, which is meant to improve chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and help run more aggressive feed rates. The .060" corner radius kind of reinforces the cutting edge, so it helps reduce chipping and extends tool life, while still holding tight dimensional accuracy. Plus its ZrN coating supports wear resistance, limits built-up edge buildup, and boosts overall machining performance when you’re cutting aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
