Product Overview
The CGS Tool CR2066.125-S is a 1" diameter 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high performance cutting in aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics and composites. As part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious it brings out solid cutting efficiency , better edge endurance and a very nice surface finish for tough CNC milling jobs.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2066.125-S has the CGS Tool original 55° high helix geometry which is made to help shove chips out faster, lower cutting forces and also handle pushy feed rates. The .125" corner radius reinforces the cutting edge, so it helps cut down on chipping and can stretch tool life while still keeping tight dimensional accuracy. It also uses a ZrN coating to boost wear resistance, reduce built up edge buildup and generally improve how the tool behaves when machining aluminum and other non ferrous materials.
