Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2069.015, is a 1" diameter , 2-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made for high-performance machining on aluminum , non-ferrous metals , plastics , and composite materials. It’s part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious, and yeah it aims to push cutting efficiency, solid edge toughness, and a consistent surface finish on tougher CNC milling work even when things get demanding.
Built from premium solid carbide, the CR2069.015 has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix setup, which is tuned to help with chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and back up aggressive feed rates. The .015" corner radius, in general, helps strengthen the cutting edge by taking the bite off sharp corner stress, so chipping gets less likely and tool life tends to last longer, while still holding accurate dimensional control. With an extended 4" length of cut and 7" overall length, this is a solid pick for deep cavity machining, long-reach profiling, and heavy stock removal, where reach really matters. And the uncoated finish is there for clean cutting results, especially in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
