Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX160-6250 is basically a 5/8” diameter, 6-flute solid-carbide square end mill, made for high performance machining stuff where hardened steels, stainless steels, titanium, Inconel and other exotic alloys show up. It’s part of the VMAX MX160 Series, and the whole point here is it brings strong machining stability, faster metal removal rates, and really nice surface finishes when you’re running demanding CNC milling routines.
Now the MX160-6250 has a more advanced variable helix… also variable pitch geometry, which helps to limit chatter and those annoying harmonic vibrations during aggressive cutting. On top of that, the premium nACRo high-performance coating gives excellent heat resistance plus wear protection, so you get better tool life, and performance that stays dependable even when you push higher cutting speeds or faster feed rates.
