The CGS Tool MX240-1250 , it’s basically a 1/8” diameter 4 flute solid-carbide square end mill that’s meant for high performance machining stuff, especially when you’re dealing with hardened steels , stainless steels , cast iron, titanium , Inconel, Hastelloy and other rare alloys. And since it’s part of the VMAX MX240 Series , it’s supposed to keep machining behavior steady , give you cleaner surface results, and stay tough even when you’re running more demanding CNC milling tasks.
Now the MX240-1250 also includes a variable helix plus a variable pitch setup, which helps dampen chatter and those cutting harmonics that can get annoying fast. That means the process runs smoother and you can remove material more effectively. On top of that, it uses a premium nACRo high performance coating , for strong heat resistance and reliable wear protection.
