Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2006 is designed with a 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, which helps the tool not only to remove more material but also, a precise surface on aluminum, non ferrous metals and plastics. Coming from the Ferocious Series, it's aimed at machinists who want high performance even when the feed rates are higher than usual.
Built out of premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2006 includes a 55° high helix, which helps with chip evacuation, it also lowers cutting forces, and gives that sharp surface finish. The polished cutting edges, plus a free-cutting geometry, helps cut down on built-up edges, while still keeping outstanding tool life. This stays true even for high-speed CNC work.
