Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2006-S has 1/4” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill made with the idea of getting maximum material removal and also keeping the surface pretty precise. It’s aimed at aluminum, non ferrous metals, and plastics, so machinists can stay in that sweet spot. It comes from the ferocious series, and yes it’s meant for people who want high performance even when running at those really aggressive feed rates.
Made out of premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2006-S has a 55° high helix which helps with chip evacuation, keeps cutting forces lower, and supports that nice surface look. The polished cutting edges and free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edges, while still holding onto excellent tool life. Even when you throw it into high-speed CNC work, it tends to stay consistent and reliable.
