Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2012 has 5/16” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill made for maximum material removal and that clean surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s really aimed at machinists who want high performance when they are pushing extreme feed rates.
Made from premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2012 has a 55° high helix that helps with chip evacuation, cuts down on cutting forces ,and keeps the surface finish looking sharp. The polished cutting edges plus that free-cutting geometry helps minimize built-up edges, and still keeps exceptional tool life going, even when you run it hard on high-speed CNC applications.
