The CGS Tool 2012-S has a 5/16” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal as well as that clean surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s made for machinists who want high performance at truly extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2012-S has a 55° high helix which helps with chip evacuation, cuts down on cutting forces and it also gives an outstanding surface finish. The polished cutting edges and free cutting shape help reduce built up edge, while still keeping an exceptional tool life, even when you run it on high speed CNC applications.
