Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2030-S has a 1/2” diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for maximum material removal and pretty fine surface precision especially in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s aimed at machinists who want high performance when you run it hard at extreme feed rates.
Built using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2030-S has a 55° high helix for better chip evacuation, lower cutting forces and good surface finishes. The polished cutting edges, plus a free-cutting geometry, help cut down built-up edges, while still keeping an exceptional tool life even in high-speed CNC setups, you know when everything is moving fast.
