Product Overview
The CGS Tool 222-6250 is a 5/8" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill for shops doing profile and contour work where the surface has to blend, not step. The .3125" radius gives you a full, rounded cutting form — good for curved pockets, blended surfaces, and finishing passes that need to look right straight off the machine.
It carries the same 30° helix and single-end build as the rest of the 222 Series, so it behaves the way you'd expect a general-purpose ball nose to behave — predictable, no surprises. It's uncoated, which is fine for the kind of work this size tool usually sees, and it holds up across mild steel, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
