Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2502 has a 1/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made so it can do maximum material removal and still keep surface precision tight on aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series so it’s built for machinists who want serious performance, especially when they push extreme feed rates and run fast.
Made using premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2502 uses a 55° high helix to help with chip evacuation, lower cutting forces and yeah, better surface finishes. The polished cutting edges plus its free-cutting geometry help minimize built-up edges, but without giving up tool life, even when it’s doing high-speed CNC work day after day.
