Tough production work needs a tool that won't back down, and the 3018-ALTiN is built for exactly that at 1/2" diameter. This 3-flute square end mill comes from the Storm 3000 Series, made for jobs where higher chip loads, aggressive cutting, and demanding materials would push a standard tool past its limits.
The Storm design uses a 60° high helix, heavy core, and eccentric relief to keep the tool rugged under pressure. Finished with ALTiN coating, the 3018-ALTiN is a strong fit for steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, alloys, Inconel, and select non-ferrous materials.
