The CGS Tool 442-0469-ALTiN, is basically a 3/64" diameter 4 flute solid carbide ball end mill, with that double ended design, made for very fine contour milling where tiny rounded details and miniature pockets of need careful control, deliberate, maybe even a bit patient.
The ALTiN coating helps protect the small cutting edge from heat and wear during those demanding jobs, and with its .0234" radius, plus a compact cutting length, this 442 Series cutter is useful for detailed CNC feature work across mild steels, stainless , cast iron, titanium, non ferrous metals, plastics and composites.
