Product Overview
The CGS Tool 45010-TiCN is a 1/4" diameter 5-flute solid carbide square end mill. It's built for superior surface finish and extreme feed rates in steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, and Inconel. It's part of the EF-5 Tornado series, designed as a super finisher for shops chasing finish quality on harder materials.
This tool runs a 45° high helix, the geometry behind the EF-5 Tornado name, giving it strong surface finish performance even when the feed rate climbs. The 5-flute design adds more cutting edges to the cut than a standard finisher, which helps smooth out the wall on tougher alloys. A TiCN coating brings added hardness and wear resistance to the edge, holding up well through abrasive, high-friction cuts.
