The CGS Tool 7009-ALTiN is a 1/2" diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 7000 Profile Series, made for profile milling and deep pocket work where reach and clean rounded cutting need to work together and not fall apart.
A .250" radius gives you a smooth ball-end form for curved surfaces, and the ALTiN coating adds heat and wear resistance, so it becomes a practical pick for demanding profiles, finishing, and a bit of detail work on mild steels , stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
